Zoo Adventures

Experience an Wild Winter at the Utica Zoo with your favorite toddler! Our interactive pre-school class is held monthly and runs from 10:00 -11:30 AM. The classes includes games, stories, crafts, and face to face meeting with some of our favorite zoo animals. The cost is $5.00/child for members and $10.00/child for non-members. On February 20th at 10:00 we will have a special zoo adventures program for toddlers and older siblings. The program will include a story, craft and animal interactions. The cost is $5.00 / child.

Home School Classes

Home school classes take place once a month and run from 10:00 to Noon. The classes are suited so that children of all ages will be able to participate and gain from this experience. The classes will include a variety of activities, crafts, animal enrichment, and of course, up close and personal learning experiences with live animals. Join Zoo Educators and find out!

Your family will learn all about nocturnal animals (and of course meet a few face to face), take a night hike and experience the zoo at night.

Cost is $5.00/person or $20.00/family.

Pre-registration is required.

Zoo Camp

February School Break Camp

On February 23rd from 10:00 to 2:00 PM a winter zoo camp will be held for kids in kindergarten to fourth grade. Pack a lunch and dress for the weather as we will be going outside.

The cost for the camp is $25.00 per child for non-members

$20.00 per child for zoo members

We had a great time this summer at zoo camp! We all enjoyed fun animal activities, crafts, games, presentations, enrichment, and of course we spent a lot of time exploring the zoo.
