Pollywogs, piglets, joeys, cygnets - some animal babies have strange names. Come to the zoo and meet some of our new arrivals.This camp is for ages pre-k to grade 2.  Please pack a lunch and dress for the weather as we will be going outside. The cost is $20.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.

April 17th  12:30 to 4:30 Woods and Wetlands

Spring is coming to the woods and wetlands around the zoo in a wild way!  Come to zoo for a fun afternoon of exploring the zoo in spring.  This camp is for grades 2 to 5.  Please pack a lunch and dress for the weather as we will be going outside. The cost is $20.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.

The Utica Zoo will again be offering classes to home school families on a variety of subjects tailored to augment your science curriculum. The classes will be held on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the autumn months from 10:00 to 11:00 AM The cost for these classes is $5.00 / child for members and $10.00 / child for non members. The classes include instruction, face to face animal presentations, bio-facts, games and other activities. Pre-registration is required.

  After School Critter Club  

Join us at the zoo for an after school club for animal lovers in grades k - 4th. The club meets once a month and includes animal interactions, crafts, games and other activities. Explore the zoo during the colder months and discover that camels wear winter coats and tigers like to play in the snow. the class runs from 3:30 to 5:00 PM and costs $5.00/child.
