Utica Zoo Career Opportunities
The Utica Zoo sits in the Roscoe Conkling Park in Utica, NY on over 80 pristine acres, 40 of which are currently developed. We care for over 200 animals from 99 different species and welcome over 100,000 visitors from all over the country every year. Our staff is one of many key components to what makes the Utica Zoo one of the premier tourist destinations in Central New York.

Animal Care Summer 2026 Intern
Full Time, Seasonal Position (May-August).
The selected candidate will be working full-time assisting keeper staff in all aspects of caring for the zoo’s collection. Our internship offers the opportunity to work alongside keeper staff in one of our seven animal areas.
