The Utica Zoo hosts numerous events throughout the year from large premiere events that happen annually to smaller special events that occur more regularly. If you are interested in hosting your own even here on zoo grounds, feel free to visit our Pavilion Rentals page!

Ticket Prices
- Adults (13+): $11

Tickets include zoo admission starting at 6:00 PM, so you can stroll the grounds, visit your favorite animals & dinosaurs, and grab some dinner before the movie begins!
Food & Drinks
Concessions will be available for purchase, including popcorn, snacks, and drinks. Guests are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
A: Advance purchase is recommended as space is limited, but tickets will be available at the gate if not sold out.
Q: I’m a member, do I get in free?
A: No, this is not a free to members event.
Q: Can I bring outside food or drinks?
A: No outside food is permitted. Concessions will be available on-site.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Rain or Shine! We have a covered seating plan in case of rain. Movies may be rescheduled in the event of severe weather. Updates will be posted on the Utica Zoo website and social media.
Q: Is seating provided?
A: No, please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to get comfy.
Q: Are the animals visible during the movie?
A: Many animals will be prepared for bed by dusk, but you’ll still hear the unique sounds of the zoo at night! Dinosaurs will also be “asleep” prior to movie start.
Q: If I pre-purchase a ticket but it might rain, can I get a refund?
A: No, we are running the movies rain or shine! Please plan accordingly

Teddy Bear Clinic
Visit the Utica Zoo Sunday, September 21st between 10:00am and 1:00pm to have your child’s favorite stuffed animal scheduled to see our highly qualified stuffed animal doctors who are ready to give their favorite toy a quick check up or even some emergency care!
Reservations are recommended but not required, one stuffed animal per reservation
Date: Sunday, September 21st
Time: Reservations every 15 minutes between 10:00am and 1:00pm
Cost: Clinic is free with admission, you will be required to pay admission prior to entry to the zoo
