Here's the 2025 naming options:

Option 1: Momo + Bao

Momo: A type of dumpling originating from Tibet and popular throughout Nepal and neighboring regions of South Asia
Bao: A fluffy, steamed bun, often with sweet or savory fillings, popular in Chinese and other Asian cuisines.

Option 2: Pang da + Bodhi

Páng dà: Meaning enormous or tremendous, this is a fitting name for this cub, as he has outweighed his brother at every check in.
Bodhi: Symbolizing wisdom, peace, and enlightenment, this name is inspired by the Sacred Fig Tree, or Bodhi Tree, significant in Hinduism and Buddhism, two religions common in the red panda’s natural habitat.

The Utica Zoo will be OPENING AT 12 NOON on Saturday, November 29th for snow removal.
