Did you know that the Utica Zoo is home to a TON of Pokémon GO “in game” Pokémon Gyms and PokéStops. Well, on July 17 Pokémon GO is having a Community Day and to celebrate we are going to activate “lures” on all of the PokéStops to help you catch some cool critters between 11am and 2pm!
But this event isn’t only for those who play Pokémon GO! Between 10am and 3pm on July 17th, there will be a Pokémon themed scavenger hunt, collectible “Utica Zoo Animal Conservation Cards” for those who complete the scavenger hunt, and a booth set up to teach you all about the The Association of Zoos and Aquariums’s Songbird SAFE program (which ties in nicely with the featured Pokémon of the July 17 Community Day: Starly)!
This event is INCLUDED with normal admission: $8 for adults (13-61), $5 for kids (2-12), $7 for seniors (62+) / military / college with ID!
