With the postponement of our annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration, the Utica Zoo would like to announce an all new event for 2022: the ZOOdiac Celebration!

Join us as we welcome in 2022 by combining our traditional Noon Year’s Celebration with a celebration of the Chinese New Year Zodiac! This year, we will say farewell to 2021’s Year of the Ox by providing some fancy enrichment for our Zebus at 12PM. Then join us in welcoming 2022’s Year of the Tiger by giving a big hello to all of our big cats here at the Utica Zoo (including our Lions, Lynxes, and Pallas’s Cat).

Additionally, we will have a scavenger hunt around the zoo that links all of our animals with a respective zodiac sign (for example, the Rat will be linked with our Porcupines), and we will have a New Year’s Re-ZOO-lution sheet that all guests can fill out and add to our Re-ZOO-lution wall.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
