The Utica Zoo offers a variety of educational & recreational programming.  The Utica Zoomobile visits schools, nursery schools & daycares, libraries, nursing homes & senior centers,  scouting groups and other community events and organizations. On site programs such as zoo camps, pre-school programs and home school classes are offered  year round to kids of all ages. Live animals, artifacts, biofacts, and tours are all part of the programming.  The Utica Zoo is fully chartered by the New York State Department of Education and is a significant educational resource to area students and teachers.
