Zoo Expeditions are guided tours through various areas of our zoo! It is a great way to enjoy a stroll around the Utica Zoo while learning more about the animals that live here from those that know them best; it’s fun for the whole family! Tour route will vary by day/time and is noted by each date below and on the booking calendar.
During the tour, you will learn facts all about our animals AND get to interact with some cool bio-facts!

10:30AM – Backyards & Barnyards (Formerly Children’s Zoo)
2:00PM – North Trek Trail (not suitable for strollers or those with wheelchairs) (FULLY BOOKED)

Please Note: PRE-PURCHASE OF TICKETS IS REQUIRED! Visitors will not be permitted to join the guided tour without a pre-purchased ticket. Tickets will be closed for booking by 9:00AM the day of the tour.
Please Note: Tours will be rain or shine, please dress for the weather as we will not be going inside during the duration of the tour.
Please Note: Animal viewing is not guaranteed, all animals at the Utica Zoo have the choice to go inside their heated shelter at any time.
